Pancakes: a classic Sunday morning snack. While transitioning to a healthful lifestyle, Sunday mornings can still stay delicious. This recipe for SWEET CHI pancakes stabilizes blood sugar and promotes maintenance of a healthy weight. While SWEET CHI provides most of the health benefits in this recipe, we chose additional ingredients without refinement or bleaching. For example, the unbleached flour recommended here has fewer chemical additives and contains whole nutrients and vitamins. Ingredients like these in conjunction with our artfully crafted, nutrient-dense SWEET CHI provide the comforts of a classic Sunday morning treat while conforming to new, conscious lifestyle decisions.
1 Cup of Unbleached White Flour
1 Cup of Plant Based Milk
2 Tablespoons of Unrefined Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Sweet Chi
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
¼ Teaspoon of Salt
Step One: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Step Two: In a separate bowl mix the SWEET CHI, plant based milk, and vanilla extract.
Step Three: Slowly incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. The mixture will be a little lumpy, but you should not have many large lumps in the mixture.
Step Four: Cover the bowl and let the mixture sit for five minutes. Since there aren’t any eggs, you’ll need to let the mixture rise.
Step Five: After five minutes, pour your desired amount of mix into a heated skillet pan and flip the pancake once the sides solidify.
Step Six: Once you have cooked all of your pancakes, top it off by drizzling the pancakes with Sweet Chi and or maple syrup.
